What is a spun bonded filter cartridge?
A spun bonded filter cartridge removes contaminants such as particles, dirt, dust, debris and rust from water. Made from densely packed spun bonded fibres using patented melt blown micro fibre technology, the filter cartridges work on the principle of depth filtration. This involves a true graded density filter matrix that switches from a low density on the surface a progressively higher density towards the centre of the cartridge, allowing for a coarser filtration on the surface and finer filtration within the inner filter.
Where can a spun bonded filter cartridge be used?
Spun bonded filter cartridges can be used for filtration across a wide range of applications, including potable water, chemicals, oil and gas, amine and plating baths, as well as within general industrial processes.
What are the benefits of using a spun bonded filter cartridge?
Manufactured with no binders, wetting agents, antistatic agents or solvents, a spun water filter has a long life, high purity and low change out frequency compared to existing string wound and resin-bonded filter cartridges. They incinerate to trace ash to allow for easy disposal and are made from polypropylene, a strong and secure material that effectively traps particles throughout its depth and has a high dirt holding capacity.

- Maximum differential pressure: 2.4 Bar at 38°C
- Maximum recommended water flow: 19 l/min per 10” length
