Office Health and Safety Training

Office Health and Safety Training provides employees with the knowledge and skills to identify and manage workplace hazards supporting compliance with health and safety legislation.  

The course covers essential topics such as accident prevention, hazard identification, legal responsibilities, and the importance of cultivating a strong health and safety culture within an organisation. 

By completing this training, organisations can reduce workplace accidents and injuries, improve compliance with legal requirements, enhance employee wellbeing and productivity, and minimise costs associated with accidents and incidents.  

Who should take this course?

Office Health and Safety Training is for all employees and managers who work in an office environment.

Please note we also offer Health and Safety Induction Training for new employees, which covers basic health and safety principles for employees in all types of workplaces.

Course duration

Health and safety in the office takes approximately 25-30 minutes to complete.

By the end of Office Health and Safety Training participants will: 

• Understand key legislation, policies, and procedures that protect employees. 
• Know an employer’s and employee’s responsibilities for health and safety in the workplace. 
• Recognise common office hazards such as fire, slips, trips, falls, and display screen equipment, and know how to mitigate these risks. 
• Understand the steps to follow to prevent accidents and the importance of following reporting procedures.
