Course Description
This course is aimed at anyone who may during their works be subjected to noise whilst at work at work
The course will cover current legislation and the need to carry out pre planned work assessment for the processes, equipment and tools.
The course covers the legal requirements and practical solutions to help comply
A practical calculation assessment will be included within the course to aid understanding.

Aims
To ensure delegates have a good understanding of the health issues with being exposed to high levels of noise whilst at work.
The need to pre plan works and carry out a noise assessment for any work process, power tool usage and any equipment that may be being used.
To be able to use the HSE noise assessment for plant and equipment and choose the correct hearing protection.
How to identify the early onset of noise exposure symptoms.
Objectives
On completion of the course, delegates will be able to:
• Have a broad understanding of the Control of Noise at Work regulations 2005.
• How to carry out a Noise assessment based on tool equipment information.
• How to identify the different action levels and what to do, understand preventative measures.
• How to identify common early symptoms for the onset of noise related damage.
