Martyn’s Law (Counter Terror) Training
Martyn’s Law (Counter Terror) Training supports duty holders to understand the principles and requirements of Martyn’s Law, formally known as the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025.
The course provides duty holders with insights into terrorism so they can identify suspicious activities and security vulnerabilities, implement appropriate control measures, and understand what to do in an emergency.
Threat levels from terrorism vary by country and region and are typically determined and communicated by government agencies or law enforcement authorities. The current terrorism threat level for the UK is substantial, meaning an attack is likely and preparation is essential.
Who should take this course?
This course provides duty holders, such as venue managers, event organisers, facilities managers, and security leads, with the knowledge and skills to assess the risk of terrorism and develop effective response plans for specific premises and events.
