Our Manual Handling in the Office training helps organisations reduce the risks of injuries associated with lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling tasks. Injuries related to manual handling are among the most frequent causes of workplace absences.

Manual handling in an office setting often includes tasks like moving equipment, lifting boxes of supplies, or adjusting furniture. These activities can lead to serious injuries if not performed correctly. Our course identifies the most common manual handling injuries and demonstrates effective strategies to prevent them.

The course supports compliance with the Manual Handling Operations Regulations (MHOR) 1992 which require employers to ensure all employees are trained in manual handling.

Who should take the office manual handling course?

Office manual handling training is suitable for all employees who may undertake manual handling operations within an office environment and those responsible for carrying out risk assessments.

We also offer a Manual Handling Course which is suitable for employees who undertake manual handling as a key part of their role, such as those who work in warehouses and retail.

Course duration

Manual Handling in the Office training course takes approximately 25 to 30 minutes to complete.
