Course duration

The drug and alcohol training course takes approximately 35-40 minutes to complete. 

Course aims 

By the end of the alcohol and drugs awareness course, employees will: 

  • Understand how drugs and alcohol can impact someone in the workplace.
  • Be able to describe ways to help identify and minimise the effects and risks. 
  • Understand their role in managing the risks. 
  • Be able to describe an employer’s responsibility for controlling drug and alcohol risks in the workplace.

How is it delivered?

Drugs and alcohol awareness training is delivered online or through a computer network to each trainee at their desktop, laptop or mobile device.

We can also provide the course to be integrated into a SCORM compliant LMS. Training can be completed at the employee’s own pace by “bookmarking” and recording progress and returning to the training later.
