Service Agreement – Training Booking Conditions
Cancellation by the Client
In the unfortunate circumstances that you have to cancel or postpone your confirmed booking, SOCOTEC reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee against the total contracted business.
All cancellations or postponements must be confirmed in writing
Cancellation charges will apply as follows:
- More than 28 days before the start of the course - No penalty
- 14-28 days before the start of the course - 50% of course price
- Less than 14 days before the start of the course - Full fee payable
No charge will normally be made for substitute delegates (unless they have already been registered and there is a charge to SOCOTEC from the awarding body accrediting the course)
In the event that SOCOTEC arrive for a booked course which is no longer required then the full fee will be payable.
If you wish to postpone a confirmed training course written notice must be given 14 days prior to the course date and the course rebooked within 30 days or the cancellation policy will apply.
Changes and Cancellations of Events
SOCOTEC reserves the right to change dates, times and venues or cancel an event; in the case of cancellation all monies will be refunded. SOCOTEC events are constantly updated and improved; SOCOTEC reserves the right at any time and without notice to alter content and to change trainers
If a delegate fails to turn up on an open course this will be classed as a cancellation.
These courses require minimum numbers for each day of the course and non-attendance resulting in numbers dropping below the stated minimum numbers may involve the course being postponed or cancelled at the client’s cost.
CITB - Site Management Safety Training Scheme - minimum 4 delegates
CITB - Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme - minimum 4 delegates
CITB - Health and Safety Awareness – minimum 3 delegates
