This course is aimed at people working within the key role as defined in CDM 2015.

The course is also suitable for those whose functions requires a much more detailed understanding of the roles and responsibilities, the course provides essential information targeted at the individuals working in construction and any other associated sector/roles affected by CDM 2015 and will cover the combined responsibilities of all CDM duty holders.


·         To ensure delegates have an excellent understanding of all the roles and responsibilities with an emphasis on communication between all duty holders.

·         The course will cover:

     CDM, the background and changes since concept up until the latest version, understand key terminology and industry guidance.

    In depth explanation of the CDM regulations and how to interpret key elements.

·         Legal responsibilities of the CDM Duty holders.

·         Detailed insight into the practical interaction between the five duty holders

·         General health and safety requirements for construction sites (includes associated industries)

·         Required documentation

On completion of the course, delegates will be able to:

 

• Identify the  5 key CDM duty holders

Have a better understanding of the current Health and Safety law and application

• Identify Roles and responsibilities and expectations under CDM- put it into practice

• How a to implement the Regulations via the 5 key duty holders

• Understand the CDM documentation required and associated responsibilities.

· Be confident in understanding the principles of CDM, practical interactions and communication.
