There are responsibilities placed on both employers and employees when undertaking work-related driving. Research has shown that employees who drive for work have a higher risk of vehicle accidents. While it may be challenging for employers to exert the same health and safety controls over employees while they are driving as they do in a typical workplace, employee awareness training is a crucial intervention to mitigate these risks.

Our Driver Awareness course is aligned with UK legislation and the Highway Code. It covers:

  • Driving Safety: Learn the fundamentals of road safety and the importance of regular vehicle safety checks.
  • Attitude and Behaviour: Understand how driving behaviour influences road safety, including the role of defensive driving.
  • Driving Techniques: Master safe driving techniques for various road types, such as motorways, urban, and rural roads.
  • Driver Comfort: Discover the importance of good posture, taking breaks, and being well-rested before driving.
